Bereavement Ministry

“Blest too are the sorrowing; they shall be consoled.”

– Matthew 5:4

The Bereavement Ministry assists families who are grieving after the death of a loved one. Support is offered through home visits, phone calls, cards at several times during the year, and special liturgies. Members provide empathy and consolation to the sorrowful by offering gentle and listening hearts.

How To Participate
The Bereavement Ministry offers the opportunity for those who possess a special sensitivity for the grieving to serve fellow parishioners who are suffering because of the loss of a loved one.
